Claire Miles was born with two wombs, two cervixes and two vaginas. Doctors informed her that she would probably never bare children, but she and her husband, David, were able make it happen. Claire had a girl from left womb and a boy in from the right womb. In over a half century, there have only been four double-womb cases where both babies survived.

Claire’s wombs are completely separate so her babies could have born months apart. Among the bizarre things that could happen, her wombs are half-sized. She and David were told that if she became pregnant, she would probably lose the fetuses.
For over 110 years, there have been fewer than 70 women in the world known to have been pregnant in two wombs. No one, including her mother, knew she had two wombs, until Claire was in her early twenties when she was on a visit to the hospital.
Miraculously, In July of 2005, Noah Henry was born weighing 4lb 15oz, 7 minutes after Maisie Rose, who weighed 4lb 13oz. The babies were several weeks premature, but were taken to neonatal intensive care. Today, Noah and Maisie are healthy children, with healthy lives. Mom and Dad, Claire and David have beaten the odds, and are proud, loving parents of two precious children.
