Japan Has Toy Robot Cockroaches

Japanese inventors have created toy robot cockroaches! The Japanese researchers are infatuated with monsters of all sizes and shapes, and robots. In other parts of the world, residents everywhere are combating an eternal pest: the cockroach. This nasty little creature was on this planet long before even the most ancient dinosaurs.

Reportedly, they are the only creature that can survive a nuclear holocaust. The Japanese nation, known for being very clean, now has this filthy little creature in one of their favorite forms: a robot, as you can see from this odd photo.

The Hex Bug acts like a cockroach with sensitive feelers, in which it actually feels its way around a room, with the senses of touch and hearing! Just like its natural brother, it will scurry away rapidly if it makes contact with anything. It will also scamper away if you make any sounds. It is not reported if the robotic version is light-sensitive like the cockroach created by Mother Nature, fleeing as soon as a light is flicked on. Just think, you can actually control the man-made bug’s path by just clapping your hands. It will also back up if it hits an object, making a half-circle, and reversing direction.

This little robot (fits in the palm of your hand) is more attractive than the natural brown one. It comes in blue, green, yellow, orange and hot pink. Unlike the natural roach, also, batteries are included. So, if you don’t have a pet cockroach in your home, here’s your chance to own one.
