The Snake Man Is Taken To Jail

A mobile home in North Carolina was transformed into a pathetic version of a reptile zoo, where one of the strange people kept 154 snakes and lizards. Some of the snakes were of the lethal variety, including venomous cobras and vipers. Inside this home of Walter Kidd were poisonous Gila monsters.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, they went to investigate the mobile home after Kidd was bitten by one of his many venomous snakes. Apparently, Kidd didn’t tell them he had more than one pet snake, and the Gila monsters. With help from animal control officers, all the make-shift reptile zoo animals were rounded up. Some of the snakes were dead, and had begun decomposing inside the trailer, and not even put in the trash. Mr. Kidd is definitely one of the strange people.

Walter Kidd was showing his fangs, too, when he was arrested on August 15, 2011 by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. After they slapped the cuffs on him, they slapped him with over a hundred charges of illegal possession of exotic and protected reptiles with no permit. He may soon have plenty of time to make snake skin belts, boots and bags in his own cage.
